Do you have a vacation in mind, that you've been dreaming about taking and now you're ready? You've been searching, for what seems to be hours, online, trying to find the perfect flights, the perfect resort, only to get discouraged? This is where ...

Rolling cigars in Punta Cana

I joined a tour, in Punta Cana, to discover the culture of the area.  We were invited into residents homes, greeted with delicious coffee, the most freshest fruit and warm smiles. I saw my first ever cocoa bean pod, which was then separated into individual beans, to start the process of making chocolate. We learned how to roll cigars as well, which was a fun experience.

I absolutely enjoy staying at all-inclusive resorts, but learning about the people working at them, is what fascinates me. They feel blessed, to be able to work in an industry, solely based on making memories for travelers.  Our tour guide, was a young man, that learned 4 different languages, so he could better communicate with tourists. That is dedication and shows the passion, to do what he loves.

I would always encourage those that are on vacation, to spend just a little time, to learn about, where they are. Going on vacation for down time is important, we need our R & R. It's also fun, to learn about new destinations, cultures, food and more.

This was definitely a memorable experience.
